Summer Family Visits

Summer was great. We got to go to Utah and Idaho to see all our families. It was wonderful and the kids had a wonderful time. We had Ali's 14th birthday, and trip to zoo. IT was fun.

Okay so this was for the Allen Celebration park 4th of July and the kids were anxiously awaiting the fireworks. We also got to hear Kool and the Gang with out Lionel Ritchie. :(

Ali was happy to graduate and have some awards. We had end of the year party and she obviously had chocolate. Girl loves her chocolate!!!

Such a happy girl what a blessing that smile brings to my life everyday. Makes all the hard work with her more than worth that one smile. :)

so big and grown up. Cannot believe she is a teenager, well the attitude shows it, but it has just gone by so fast.

This day came and I really haven't been ready for it to move up to Middle School. I am sure we will survive. I cannot believe my sweet girl is so big. Almost the big 13. :)

We had a day off from school and Dad took the day off. We went to Allen Family Bowl Center and played a few games and all had a great time. Jaxon and Ali even beat their big brother. Taylor didn't quite have a great bowling day. :)

This was picture day for Tball. The kids were really good and the photographer asked them to act silly for this picture before the real one. I am so glad that I got this one on my camera. They didn't offer this one for purchase.

Ali has a Talent Show at School

Ali had her Talent Show last week at Story Elementary. The special needs kids did a sign language song to Love in Every Language. She had so much fun and really did pretty good. She took some cues from the kids next to her but was really able to do several of the signs and sang it both. It was very touching and not many dry eyes in the gym. All the students of the school gave these sweet kids a standing ovation. We love our Ali and are so proud of her.

Ali got to make her own stamped tshirt for the special event. They made a heart with the I love you "sign" on it. Very cute and in purple how cute is that.

My Little Tballer. He is so adorable out there and loves it to boot. He is actually pretty good and quite coordinated. We get tickled to watch him play. A good time by all. Ali gets to go and eat all the goodies she can from the concession stand, Taylor gets to scope out hot girls, and Mom gets to adore the kiddos. Dad is dugout and 3rd base coach. A little frustrated by some kids, but overall I think that he is enjoying it, too.

We took the kids and Wade's parents to Sea World this April. It was our first real vacation since before Jaxon was born. How lame is that. We had a good time and the kids all seemed to really enjoy it all.

We had a good time going to a local nature preserve. Lots of trails and play areas. It was a bit chilly, but the kids really enjoyed it.

This is the Mommy Son Valentines Dance that Jaxon and Mom went to last weekend. Needless to say we paid $30 to get in and went in and it was fancy. Nicer than any high school dance I even had. Jaxon stood there looking around for about 5 minutes and said "This is kinda wierd. I want to go home!" Try as I could I couldn't get him to change his mind. Luckily they gave me back my money! : )

This is funny, my husby Wade decided to grow facial hair. It was really strange because he looked so different. While working at the LDS Church Office Building in SLC he was approached by security during a funeral and said, "You look like you don't belong here." How is that for a jab. I think he looked younger. Not my hubby, though. I like the baby face. This was taken just before a clean shave. Whew!!

Christmas morning. We are very blessed. We had a great Christmas and a very enjoyable day. The kids were happy. Santa also surprised us with the funnest Family gift. The Wii. We all love it. Bowling is Ali's favorite. Jaxon loves it all.

The kids had a really good time Trick or Treating. Halloween was a success. Jaxon was Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Ali was a sweet cheerleader. Go Allen Eagles!!!! Jaxon only got scared at one door and did a bee line to the curb where Dad was. He heard a noise inside the house and was freaked. There was a talking skull on the doorstep. So when there was a crash inside that was it.

Well the end of the school year for the kids. Ali is just excited becuz she got to have parties at school and she got gifts and treats. Happy day for her. She will be sad come Monday when she won't have the bus coming.

Jaxon finished up a week and a half ago. But got in on the fun with gifts from Ali's bus drivers. Very sweet. Crazy loud house here today. Taylor is hiding out as a teen would. Just glad to be done according to him.

well the Peterson's have now officially become Bloggers.

Welcome to Texas. I hope that we will be able to keep this up. We hope that y'all had a great Christmas and hope that a blessed New Year is coming your way. I feel very blessed this last year. We were able to move and relocate to a new town (Allen) closer to Wade's work. We were also blessed to upgrade our home. We now have double the square footage and feel like we can actually stretch out a little. Compared to our little ol' home of 1500 sq. feet.

We have been very busy renovating on the new home and have almost accomplished the painting task. We painted almost every room. We still have upstairs to do where we have the game room, Taylor's room and the bath up there left. Jaxon got his blue room this last summer right after moving in. Taylor cannot decide what he wants so we are still waiting. We closed in a formal dining room and made it into an office. Wade did a really good job with his handyman skills. He never ceases to amaze us. We did alot of ripping out wall paper and texturizing. Our kitchen has all new appliances. We have almost all new floors minus the bathrooms. That is to come in the New Year. Along with a bathroom renovation in the Master. Spring will bring new landscaping which Wade is dying to do. As you can all imagine.

We are all happy and doing well. Taylor is doing great at Ford Middle and Ali is at Story Elementary in the 4th grade. Jaxon is at Discovery Days preschool 2 days a week and we all love that. Especially Mom.
